Piero Ferrari and the Grand Prix Drivers Club

Piero Ferrari, Vice-Chairman of Ferrari SPA has been appointed an honorary member of the Grand Prix drivers Club at the Club’s Annual General Meeting held at the Scuderia Ferrari headquarters in Maranello on Saturday May 7 2016.

Piero Ferrari is the second son of the legendary Enzo Ferrari and was born on May 22 1945. He joined his father in the company in 1970 and was appointed Vice-Chairman in 1988. He has been heavily involved in their racing programme in past years.

Many of the Grand Prix Drivers Club who have raced for Ferrari were present for the announcement including John Surtees the former World motor racing champion.
