Vitaly Petrov, who raced in Formula 1 for three seasons was the nominated driver steward for the Portuguese Grand Prix at the Portimao circuit at the weekend. However, he stood down and dashed back to St Petersburg in Russia following the death of his father Alexander Petrov.
